Copyright & Intellectual Property

• Authors must secure written permission for any third-party copyrighted material included in the work.
• Copyright and intellectual property ownership are governed by the applicable UPTM/KPTM publication agreement and institutional policy.
• For eligible books, the author grants UPTM Press an exclusive licence to print, publish, distribute, market and sell the work in print and electronic formats for the applicable copyright period, unless otherwise agreed.
• UPTM Press may appoint third parties for printing and distribution.
• Authors warrant that the work is original, does not infringe third-party copyright, and is free from plagiarism and fabricated data.
